Unlike many UK charities we don't pay anyone in the UK or spend money on admin costs
Every pound of your money donated goes into our projects in Kenya. We provide genuine opportunities for people of all ages to volunteer; we don't make a profit out of our volunteers, it is the community in Ndhiwa & the volunteers who benefit. We work with partners in Kenya who have been elected by their community to represent them
Carbon footprint
Our projects in Kenya are all sustainable. Our strategic aims include PRESERVATION, CONSERVATION AND PROTECTION OF THE ENVIRONMENT
In addition we have a unique Carbon offsetting scheme, which involves providing energy efficient stoves, planting trees and providing training to local women's group.
Team Kenya is a newly formed organisation supporting & working with communities in Western Kenya so they can address their own development needs, live with dignity and enjoy basic human rights
We are currently working in partnership with Ndhiwa Community Empowerment & Development Project
(NCEDP) in Ndhiwa, Homa Bay District, Nyanza Province
We are a small, very effective, ambitious charity run by a group of dedicated people with a great deal of knowledge and first hand experience of collaborating with the community in Ndhiwa over the last 8 years
